In case you haven’t heard, Kindle and I won a spot on the 2012 World Agility Open (WAO) Team USA at the UKI Open last November. I am thrilled that Kindle and I will be traveling to Belgium this May to compete at the WAO (http://www.worldagilityopen.com). Being a part of a national team has been a long held dream of mine and now it’s coming true! But I need your help.
How can you help? I’m not a fundraiser, so I’ll get directly to the point, sponsorship, either for the WAO Team USA, for Kindle or for myself. Belgium or Bust!!!
A.) WAO Team USA*: Sponsorships range from $50 on up to $5,000 with varying levels of recognition and advertising for each amount. Members of our team reside in 13 different states; many are agility instructors who travel to over 22 different states in a year to teach. That means WIDE spread national advertising for your business. For more information, I can put you in contact with our team manager, Tracy Sklenar.
B.) Red Dawn’s Light My Fire “Kindle”: New this year, you can sponsor Kindle’s entry fees, travel costs and veterinary fees with their Dog Angel program. In your checks memo column you can designate your donation to any part of Kindle’s expenses, or you can simply say you'd like to be one of Kindle’s Angels. Dog Angel sponsorships of $150 or more include your business logo or an inspirational quote of your choice placed on Kindle’s Back-on-Track coat, which she’ll wear at the event whenever she is not competing. Contact me directly to sponsor Kindle’s costs.
C.) Moe Strenfel: The estimated total for the entire trip including airfare, hotel, entry fees, meals, uniforms and other incidentals is $5,000. I simply do not have that kind of money. A donation of even $5.00 gets me one step closer to my dream. In return, you get that warm fuzzy feeling of knowing you helped a first time USA competitor get to Belgium to compete! Donations of $50 or more will receive a public thank you on Facebook and my website.
Some people spend their lives chasing dreams and never get to see them come to fruition. With your help, Kindle and I can realize ours. We are incredibly grateful for any support you can send us. If you have questions or want to know where you should send your donation, please email me at: RxBehave@comcast.net
Many thanks in advance, Moe Strenfel & Red Dawn’s Light My Fire “Kindle” - www.MomentumDogSports.com
* WAO TEAM USA is not funded by the American Kennel Club (AKC) or the United States Dog Agility Association (USDAA), and all funds raised will go directly toward sponsoring the WAO Team USA.
